A native of DeRidder, LA, an only child who was determined to live a full life of giving back. She journeyed to Lafayette in 1977 and never looked back. Together with her family, Paula has always tried to make sure that she lives out God’s purpose for her life.
Paula is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Business Administration, and an Associate Degree as a Church Business Administrator from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. She is the Owner/Broker of Duncan Realty Professionals, LLC, Owner of Paula’s Tax & Notary Services and CEO of Duncan Enterprises, Owner of PFAD’s Threads & Laser Engraving.
Her designations include Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyers Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist, At Home with Diversity Specialist, Relocation Specialist, ePro and Broker Management.
She worked for 19 years for Gethsemane Church, (Gethsemane Christian Academy, LaPetite Early Childhood Development Center and First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ as the Comptroller and Manager of COGIC Credit Union. Paula has served on the Realtor Association of Acadiana Board of Directors; Served as the Realtor Association of Acadiana President in 2011. Chaired and has been or is currently serving on RAA’s Fair Housing/Equal Opportunity, Membership, Public Relations, Education, MLS, Professional Standards, Realtor Commercial Alliance, Budget and Technology committees and several task forces. She also served on the Joint MLS Committee for Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Paula has worked with Rebuilding Communities with Habitat and has been involved with the Lafayette Homebuyers Fair. She was Inducted into the RAA Honor Society in 2006 and is a Lifetime Member. During her real estate career, she has received awards every year for her production and was honored was honored to be the recipient of the Pat Olson Award in 2010 and the Realtor Of The Year for 2021.
She is a graduate of the Louisiana REALTORS® Leadership Program. Paula has served on many committees local, state and national level of the real estate industry. Paula is a member of the National Committee for ARELLO. She has also served as Secretary/Treasurer, Chair of the Insurance Committee, Vice Chair of the Board and is currently the 2024 Chair for the Louisiana Real Estate Commission Board.
